Payments are handled by Stripe. Every payment produces an invoice, available in your account as soon as the payment succeeds.
Getting your invoices
Invoices live in the billing section of your account. Each one shows the plan, the period covered, the amount, the tax treatment and your billing details as they were at the time of payment.
Billing details to set
| Field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Legal entity name | Must match your accounting records |
| Billing address | Determines the tax treatment |
| Country | Determines the tax treatment |
| VAT ID | Required for the reverse charge to apply |
VAT
The price on the pricing page is the price you pay: nothing is added at checkout, whatever the seller's VAT status. What the VAT status changes is how the invoice is written up, which depends on where you are:
| You are | Treatment |
|---|---|
| A business in another EU country with a valid VAT ID | Reverse charge — no VAT charged; you account for it |
| A business or consumer in the Czech Republic | Czech rules apply |
| A consumer in another EU country | VAT of your country, where applicable |
| Outside the EU | Generally outside the scope of EU VAT |
Enter your VAT ID before the first payment if you want the reverse charge applied. A VAT ID added later applies to subsequent invoices, not to earlier ones.
The seller is Jan Vorisek, OSVČ — the registration details are on the imprint page, and the current VAT status is stated there. If that page says the seller is not VAT registered, no VAT is charged on any invoice and the reverse-charge row above does not arise.
Payment methods
Card payments through Stripe, with the card details held by Stripe and never by us — see the privacy policy. Changing the card on file takes effect at the next renewal.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe retries and you receive an email. Access to paid features may be suspended while it remains unpaid, but projects are never deleted for non-payment — the guarantee is in the terms of service.
Retention
Invoices are kept for as long as Czech accounting and tax law requires — currently up to ten years — whether or not the account remains active. This is a legal obligation; the detail is in the privacy policy.
Something wrong with an invoice
Mail [email protected] with the invoice number. A sole trader's billing desk is one person, and corrections are quick.
