The short version
- Four essential items keep you signed in and remember your preferences. They cannot be switched off without breaking the product, and they do not track you across other sites.
- Google Analytics runs only with your consent. Decline, and the Google script is never loaded at all — so no
_gacookie is created, rather than being created and ignored. - Your answer applies to this site and to the app at
studio.elementarium.app, which measures its own traffic under a separate Google Analytics property. One question, both places, and you can change it here or on the privacy page inside the app. - There is no advertising, no remarketing, no third-party tracker beyond the one named here.
Essential cookies
Stored on the basis of our legitimate interest in delivering a working service, and exempt from consent because the service you asked for cannot function without them.

Analytics cookies
Set by Google Analytics 4 on this site, and in the app under its own property, on the basis of your consent, to tell us which pages people actually read and where they give up. Data may be transferred to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses; the retention period is 14 months.

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately — no reload needed.
Browser controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies for a site, and clearing site data for elementarium.app removes everything listed here — including the record of your choice, so the banner will come back. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and stop the application from working properly.
Changes
